Inclusivity and Exclusivity
One analogy to help describe ISITAS is as a filter or a sifter. We are about to run our civilization through ISITAS and reshuffle the social order.
Today, the people at the top of the socioeconomic order tend to be those who have excelled at the Game A system, and their heirs. Their wealth and status are based on the accumulated capital of generations past, dating back thousands of years.
ISITAS will reallocate economic prosperity along the axes of attributes such as integrity, ingenuity, generosity, and kindness. Rewards will naturally flow to those who are deserving.
Exactly how that will happen involves the concepts of Inclusivity and Exclusivity.
The abiding ethos of ISITAS will be that of Inclusivity. All races, religions, nationalities, political affiliations, sexual orientations, tribes, and every other type of person are welcome in ISITAS.
The membership of ISITAS should be a representative sampling of the population of Earth from the beginning. Recruiting strategies will involve seeking people who represent under-represented groups.
Another strategy for reinforcing inclusivity is an aspect of the Exponential Launch Sequence (ELS) that 50% of all new members on each cohort will consist of ‘Insiders’ — personal friends and family of current members — and 50% ‘Outsiders’ — who are hired through crowdsourcing and freelancer websites (early stages) and other public recruiting methods (later stages).
Either way, all members will be reminded when it is time to distribute invitations that the primary criteria for new members are kindness, ingenuity, cooperation, generosity, curiosity, and similar traits. People who exhibit traits like hatred, greed, contempt, cruelty, and ignorance — whatever their station in life or skill sets — will be less likely to receive invitations to join ISITAS.
Which leads to the concept of Exclusivity. ISITAS will leverage the social construct of exclusivity to drive the growth of the membership while optimizing the quality of our membership and reinforcing members’ commitment to the project.
Membership in ISITAS will be strictly by invitation only. Each member is limited to 10 invitations. Meanwhile, all member invitations are matched by invitations to outsiders. This results in 2X more invitations than there are membership positions available. In other words, we will engineer a supply/demand differential so that only half of the candidates will be able to become members on any given launch.
The idea is to literally have a race through ISITAS and the top finishing players earn the spot in the membership. Thus, the final arbiter of who makes it in is merit.
This strategy will increase desire to achieve membership (assuming the value of the membership is firmly established), and for those who do, it will reinforce their belief in the project.
Those who don’t make the cut on any given launch will be given a head start on the next stage so they are practically assured to make it next time, so there are no hard feelings, but only anticipation for the next launch event.
By effectively leveraging the powerful forces of Inclusivity and Exclusivity, ISITAS will rapidly build a dynamic community of quality people.
