Awareness
The Primary Purpose of ISITAS is to raise the overall Awareness of the Human Species.
One could argue that the primary purpose of ISITAS is to help Humanity to achieve a higher level of intra-species alignment. This is very close to the truth, but raising Awareness is a prerequisite to achieving intra-species alignment.
It could also be argued that the main point of ISITAS is achieving Human/AI Alignment, which is certainly a worthy cause. But Human/AI Alignment requires that Humans are first aligned themselves. That will require that Humans transcend their learned behaviors, which requires a higher level of Awareness.
Another key purpose of ISITAS is to establish a sustainable Universal Basic Income (UBI). While this absolutely is a key objective of the project, a UBI is only possible by harnessing the power of fully-aligned AI, which is only possible with an aligned Humanity, which is only possible by raising our Awareness.
It all comes down to Awareness.
Raising Awareness Worldwide is the key to solving the Metacrisis.
So what do we mean by Awareness?
It means being able to perceive a wider range of information, and being able to comprehend the meaning of information on more levels. Awareness means having the ability to zoom out to see the big picture and then zoom back into details as deeply as you like while maintaining your orientation and global perspective.
Awareness means being able to detect abstract patterns within the kaleidoscope of overlapping objects and events swirling through Reality.
Awareness is the ability to separate signal from noise — and to recognize the source of the signal.
ISITAS is a game that introduces players to the concepts of Abstraction and Awareness simply and easily by incorporating the elementary ISIT Construct.
The ISIT Construct is essentially an exercise in Abstraction, intended to illustrate the concept of Abstraction while raising collective consciousness (i.e. Awareness) from the ground up.
As more and more people become Aware of the power of Abstraction and Awareness, enabled by the ISITAS platform, coordinated as a coherent community, and fully Aligned with AGI, we will see a collective blossoming of solutions to all forms of problems we face, leading to the full transformation of our World.
