Coordination is the Key

What would it take for the common folk of the world to wrest power from the elites and form a more optimal and equitable worldwide socioeconomic system?

In a word: Coordination.

As it is, the eight billion citizens of Earth are completely and utterly dispersed into their own tiny social and psychological silos. A sprawling economic system that keeps peoples’ attention trained on their jobs, and a vast entertainment network including mass media, social networks, games, religion, drugs, and so much more, provide them with ample ways to soothe their frayed nerves in their offtime.

Let’s just say that coordinating with fellow workers on overthrowing the socioeconomic order is not high up on most peoples’ ToDo list.

Some people dream about it from time to time. There are a few who are seriously discussing these ideas. But none of them seem to have a clearly articulated, actual Plan for how it could be accomplished — at least not that I’ve seen yet, or heard about.

How can we possibly coordinate the activities of billions of hopelessly scrambled people in a concerted effort to change our world so profoundly?

What would that even look like?

Coordination is at the core of this great endeavor, and I’m going to expand on this topic in future articles, to be sure.

But for now, I just want to paint a picture for you of a world in which a billion of the world’s brightest, wisest, and kindest people — regardless of race, nationality, gender, age, religion, politics, or socioeconomic status — are all connected through a private platform designed to facilitate coordination on finding solutions to the world’s problems.

The Primary Purpose of this organization would be to usher in the Great Transformation into the Coming Age, for all Humans, and for Planet Earth as a whole.

Members of this community would, like members of most communities, continue to participate in society at large. Involvement in this prospective community will generally remain a part-time activity, at least in the early days of formation.

But while their friends and family are passively scrolling through Facebook, playing Fortnite, or fuming over Fox, members of our theoretical society are actively engaging with each other on important and urgent projects.

And not just engaging, but coordinating and collaborating on a tiered stack of projects, starting with the previously alluded to platform, designed and developed by members of the organization for the express purpose of enabling them to coordinate efficiently.

This platform extending from the apps to the cloud network, and eventually, to the hardware interface — is managed by the community, and operates like a ghost in the machine amidst the rest of the legacy system.

Based on blockchain technology, with biometric authentication by default, it is utterly secure.

At the heart of this platform is a polling engine that makes taking polls one of the main forms of member engagement, making the community inherently ultra democratic. Literally every decision made about anything that happens within the parameters of this platform, is decided by a vote. Voting earns credits, and practically everything within the platform includes a poll. So simply by engaging with projects and topics that they care about, members are voting on their preferences.

The platform/community naturally has its own token economy, where members earn crypto tokens and coins for engaging with content and each other, as well as for being liked and shared, in myriad different ways — as many as our billion brilliant minds can imagine together.

In the early days of this possible future, those tokens won’t be worth much, as they only represent the efforts of a relatively few people. But over time, as the community grows into hundreds and thousands of members, and the work product of all those people collaborating to design, develop, and distribute this next-gen platform begins to show results, the value of those tokens and coins will begin to rise.

By the time the society expands to millions and billions, the activities of the organization will have expanded beyond the digital platform to the real world in the form of factories, farms, business ventures, distribution networks, stores, and real estate — all the essential components of a viable proto socioeconomic system existing within the body of the legacy system.

As this proto society increases in substance, the true power of the platform and the people coordinating their efforts will be definitively demonstrated.  At that point, the tokens and coins earned through engagement will be of great relative value, making them a viable alternative to US Dollars.

Can you imagine how the established Powers That Be would react to such a disruptive organization in this hypothetical society of ours?

I have.

I don’t imagine they would like it very much.

They especially wouldn’t like the idea that the members of this organization collectively intend to generally slow down the pace of their activity, and take a more relaxed approach to life.

A billion of the world’s brightest people all deciding to just lay low and chill with each other, while collaboratively developing technologies for things like radical sharing, full resources utilization, and sustainable living, will probably sound a lot like an economic meltdown to them.

And they won’t necessarily be wrong.

But that’s a topic for another day.

Sorry to take that dark turn so early in my messages to you.

But then, it’s not like I’m foretelling something everybody else hasn’t been predicting. There are some rough times ahead. There are powerful, dark forces at work in a world built from their design, for their benefit. It’s going to take a LOT of work to tilt that axis.

And when the axis does finally start to topple, and they lose their grip on control, they will not give up without a fight.

Given that there is some probability that the Established Order is going to fall in the foreseeable future, and given the gravity of that possible event, it makes sense to give this subject some thought, and consider who will be able to navigate the chaotic storm ahead and make it to the other side, safe and sound.

It will be the ones who coordinate ahead of time, and work as a team to harness our true strength in numbers.

I hope you’ll tune in for my next article. I have much to share with you.

I like your idea of getting a billion good people on a system where they can discuss and coordinate game-changing activities. Count me in as an early adopter…
